Heaven vs Earth Vowels Only

It is easy to pick the best. They speak for themselves. Here are my XIs for last names beginning with vowels. Also an attempt to throw the names of good cricketers out there who may not otherwise make all time XIs.

Y only counts if it is a soft Y

For those who will be disappointed if they read ahead, Ajit Agarkar and Ronnie Irani do not make the list :)

Heaven

Unfortunately, people batting out of position.

1. Mo. Amarnath
2. John Edrich
3. O'Neil
4. Polly Umrigar
5. Warwick Armstrong
6. Denis Atkinson
7. Ames
8. Adcock
9. Gubby Allen
10. Lala Amarnath
11. O'Reilly

Ames beats out Oldfield. O'Keefe robbed an openers spot. Inverarty to play if 2 spinners are needed.

Earth

1. Atherton
2. Bill Edrich
3. Amla
4. Azharuddin
5. Abbas
6. Engineer
7. Ray Illingworth
8. Akram
9. Underwood
10. Ambrose
11. J. Anderson

Astle, Jimmy Adams, Amiss and Atapattu close

There you go. I'm sure I missed people.
