Anyway, apparently we're batting again. I wonder if that decision would have been different 10 minutes ago.

I suppose it's very, very slightly more likely we'd lose by enforcing (NZ score 400, ticklish 200+ chase) but equally it makes an English win more likely too.

Windy decision, IMHO.

Tough for Compton. Needs run, some pressure to score at a decent pace and two fine opening bowlers to deal with.

Why is "defensive" an ugly word? It may be a bit boring to watch at times but that doesn't mean it doesn't make sense.
