I want to hypothesize about how this could happen. I can only figure faster than light travel.
The speed at which a fielding team gets through the innings is overrated.

Stokes doing his England chances no harm by finally scoring some runs and against a good attack.

Why can't we be this good at real cricket.

    Mickleburgh scoring a double? WTF.

Good work, I guess. Liked The last over Foakes faced before lunch. Who gives a toss about the nervous nineties?

Yes nice to see some of the younger Essex players getting a game and making a contribution. So much talent in the squad, so little results. First thing I would do is get rid of one of Shah or Ten Doeschate or both. Only play 2/3s of the season and should put in better performances than they do giving their experience and class.

Looks an interesting innings from the scorecard. Just seemed like he rotated the strike well and then just wen boom on a few occasions. Ignoring his 6s he had 42(43) with only one boundary. Solid work.

Luke Wright with a big ton, 161. There was something about him that I always felt may be able to be harnessed into a Test player. Almost the ideal number 6 if he could average around 40 with bat. Seems he is a iT20 specialist only though. Shame, its a waste of talent.

Dimi to retire at the end of the year.

Has been there for almost the entire time I have been watching Hampshire. One of my very favourite ever players and a bloody good county cricketer, in all formats as well, not just the shorter stuff.

He should have played a hell of a lot more limited overs stuff for England.

Criminal that guys like Plunkett, Mahmood and Harmison played more ODIs.
