Who needs it though, eh? 3-13 in five, very impressive. Anyone else reminded of the shot that ended North's test career at Adelaide when he got out today?

Not having a good tour are they Bangladesh A? Their previous 3 losses have been to, at best, understrength sides and today was, one player aside, notts seconds

Yeah, really quite embarrasing that a selection of 1st/2nd XI counties and a 2nd XI + Mullaney have done them so far.

Not like our lions tour did any better last winter tho in Aus. NOt that easy coming to foreign conditions out of season and playing teams who are naturally at home in the conditions.

Some serious quality added in the past few days!! Williamson, Amla, Gambhir all exciting players. I am going to go to the Bears/Surrey game that starts on the 17th, want to see Amla bat - though the Bears to win obviously.

Gambhir to essex now for the rest of the season starting next week. Another exciting signing. Shame he won't play a bit more one day cricket but Essex still in with a chance of promotion in the championship.

Essex sign Gautam Gambhir for remainder of the season »
I'm as excited about this signing as when we signed Saj Mahmood.

Though, at least to be fair to Gambhir, he's exactly the sort of player Essex need... Someone who can hold a bat should immeasurably improve the batting line up.

England u19s on the tv tomorrow playing pakistan u19s. Last qualification game but it won't matter with regards to the final- whoever wins today between england and bangladesh play pakistan in the final. Matt Fisher the 15 year old from Yorkshire has been doing well but will probably be rested for tomorrows game which is a shame. Bound to be a few big talents on the pakistan side.

Lees making runs today, 62 off 66 at Somerset and Learning 33 off 26 not out so far. Few more prospects coming out of Yorkshire. Irritating or what :p
