Notts absolutely smashing Durham in the live T20 so far. Chasing 155, they're 81/0 after 8.

Be so good to see the big fella in the main event.
Part of me hopes he doesn't get a look in as that means the chosen ones to start the series are doing the business but I know what you are saying. Be a huge asset to tour Australia with as shown last time.

Maxwell has talent but yeah, his form's been poor.

It was a point about the T20, if that wasn't obvious my apologies. Obvioously Ponting is still a massive +ve in first class cricket even if he has missed quite a few games over the formats with injury/illness. His and Maxwell's form has been poor in the T20 but as I said you wouldn't drop either as they both improve the team.

Ben Stokes with a couple over 90mph yesterday and although he was smashed he didn't actually bowl that bad. Bowled two or three decent yorkers but Lumb was in insane form. Unfortunately Stokes' batting seems to be going in the wrong direction. Got out to a horribly messed up attempt at a scoop/ramp which he spooned to point. The way he is going he could be an international no.7. Credit to Lumb though he's improved massively in the last year or two imo to a standard where at county cricket he is outstanding and even at the international level he is decent.

    Notts look a unit.

Near full schedule of 4 day games starting tomorrow. Really is too much cricket played. Gotta feel most for the bowlers flogging a living.

Forgot that they were slipping some 4 day games into the middle of all this twenty20.

yes even with the hot weather there probably will be some low scores given some of the batsmen are going to be batting a little too frenetically.

    Compton gone too now.

Warwickshire's batting line up seems to get shorter every game.

Durham royally ****ing up 222-4 against Derby****e. Left to the bowlers to redeem things as usual.

Surrey and Somerset both getting smashed. I mean Yardy 75 off 57*- he can hardly get the ball off the square most of the time.

Just watching the T20 between Essex and Kent.

Better second over from Philander, only went for 16.

Bet most of the world still think Philander should be playing all forms for South Africa and that Tredwell is rubbish.
