I knew Leicestershire were pretty bad, but their batting line up is absolutely shocking, how they managed to have Thakor batting at 7/8 for most of the season is beyond me. Can only see rain denying us victory

David Sales on to 251, which is about as many as he usually makes in a season these days.

Derbyshire sailing to a surprisingly easy win at Hove.

Looks like weather could rob the Bears of a fantastic victory at Headingly :(

Will have to get these out in the next 5 overs and then bat very well to chase there score.

Yeah Boyd has wrapped up the tail perfectly and the early tea break gives us a decent shout now. We are probably out of contention for the title but at least we are giving it a decent go. I really don't understand what is going on with Javid? We bat him 8 and he doesn't bowl....

Specialist fielder? Guess it's the number of all rounders that can bat better than him.

Wouldn't discount anything regarding the title if the bowlers stay fit to be honest.

Draw nailed on now as its raining again. He has a rubbish arm though, thats what I don't understand. I honestly think cricinfo may have scored it wrong and given Patel some of his overs.

Pleasantly surprised to see this kind of performance from Ballance. Had no support and was against a good attack in seaming conditions. Probably the first real example of him being international standard after a lot of cash-in knocks.

The bowling's worse.

Took us a full hour for us to do the standard collapse from whatever it was for 3 overnight to all out. Woeful. Didn't even try and bat out for the rain in the afternoon.

Well they could always bring an overseas guy in, like they did with Langer, but can't think of anyone ATM.

Hildy, CK and Trego are the obvious options I'd have thought.
3 ODIs in Zimbabwe aside, Australia have nothing scheduled next summer. Pakistan have literally nothing either.

Ed Cowan is an obvious choice. Not sure he'd really improve the batting to the extent that Alviro could though.
