Indians can't bowl - Where has the rumour come from as I myself and many indian friends arwe competent fast bowlers ?

With the English bid I said: Let us be brief. If you give back the Falkland Islands, which belong to us, you will get my vote. They then became sad and left

Lancs prob should declare now. Glos aren't serious contenders for promotion so Lancs don't lose much by losing this game (unlike the hampshire lancs game last week where both are promotion rivals so don't want to let the other get a win) whilst the benifit for winning is obviously massive with 16 points as opposed to 3 for a draw.

Glos' frontline spinner is now Miles Hammond, who was only 17 in January. He's in the squad for tomorrows game against Yorkshire.
He's a better one day player than Bairstow and by a bit of a margin quite frankly.

Watching the Bears/Pears derby just now on Sky (SS3 for UK readers) and fascinated by Javid for the former's action.

Think he's nominally bowling off-spin, but looks like he's pushing it through at medium pace.

    - As featured in The Independent.

"The committee discussed the issue of illegal bowling actions, and believed that there are a number of bowlers currently employing suspect actions in international cricket, and that the ICC's reporting and testing procedures are not adequately scrutinising these bowlers."
    - Even the ICC's own official press release thinks things must change

Keeping Moeen Ali on was a bold move, but they got away with it, thanks to Wright.

Ponting run out for 192 in the last over before lunch, not a bad start I suppose ...

And Surrey declare with a lead of 101. Can Derbyshire screw this up like they did against Yorkshire?

unbelievably, Calvin Burnett's performance today (1 for 73 off 5.4 overs and presumably taken out of the attack due to beamers) will lead to him lowering his bowling average

Ha, yeah, hadn't realised he was playing for Essex now. RTD outdid him though.

    Encouraging stuff from Tremlett again.

15 sixes in that RTD innings of 180. That's madness.

MacLeod back as an opening bowler today. He contemplated life as a batsman for a while after his action was ruled suspect a couple of years back; I wonder what it looks like now.

Sanga isn't the best off spinner in the history of cricket? News to me.
