Essex losing their way a little - Bopara and Napier out - still only a run a ball needed but this could go down to the wire.
Good ol' Dirtbag, manages to go at 7 an over, when Surrey are all over the batting side. Really needs to become a Championship specialist.
Pazza weaving his magic. 60-0 after 8 overs to 77/4 after 16.3 lol
Surrey with a massive tail as well, we might not be out of this yet
Before today, Chris Dent had 160 OD runs @ 16 with a HS of 36.
Now has 311 @ 31.1 with a HS of 151*
Standard.
Batting first against Somerset on a flat deck must be horrible. You can't feel safe no matter what you get.
Go Unicorns go.
Jos not going to get a hit![]()
Yeah, the gulf between Somersets one-day batting, and the batting in the real stuff is truly massive.
Still, just hope this season they stay up, and win some kind of one-day trophy.
Yeah, anywhere in the top 7 in the Championship and one day silverware would be a great season for Somerset IMO. As I said earlier in the thread, I think they're at a bit of a crossroads though, and it'll be a testing couple of seasons for them.
Hampshire rather similar, excellent win and brilliant from Dawson at the end.
I know Carberry has no chance of making the England side but his pro40 form has been fantastic in the last year.
