Yep. Ravi came on to bowl with such a plan. Brilliant to send down two on leg stump with fine leg up.

Reckon Reece needs to up his pie intake; kid's nearly Bruce Reid skinny.
    - As featured in The Independent.

"Predictably, the ending of his international career did not end the argument about Pietersen's merits, as an army of informed commentators and Piers Morgan weighed in to defend or attack him."
    - The Guardian's Andrew Anthony

Jeez, I turn on and its 123-0 after 11?

The Dernbach comparison flatters Saj tbh.

Essex are just bowling horribly, aren't they?

Credit to Vince & Carbs tho; taking full toll.

Carberry looking stacked actually. Always been a big guy, but has serious gunnage now. Reckon he spent most of the winter cracking the weights.

Shades of KP in that straight drive from Vince, IMHO.

These matches aren't usually this late are they? If this one went the distance it wouldn't finish until around 10.30, not great for people trying to get home by public transport.

Amazing how similar their ODI and ListA records are, actually.

    Both dreck obviously.

Yeah I know the bowling has been awful but that is such a brilliant century to watch.

100 for Vince, just 71 balls. Lad's in great form, England by the end of the season?
