well they are using him incorrectly. he's a bowler
Indians can't bowl - Where has the rumour come from as I myself and many indian friends arwe competent fast bowlers ?

With the English bid I said: Let us be brief. If you give back the Falkland Islands, which belong to us, you will get my vote. They then became sad and left

Hmm Root put Yorkshi*e ahead and then got out next ball.

Notts 3 down and still a good 50+ runs behind. Lots of okay batsmen left but none specifically that Durham should lose any sleep over. Just need to keep picking up wickets.

Edit: Fatel gone. Again wondering why Wood didn't play earlier. Might have been the difference in that disaster against Yorkshi*e.

Shame for root to get out when he did, he's missed out on all the average-padding being sent down atm.

I didn't even have a clue what Redfern bowled but apparently he has 7 First Class wickets now. I certainly missed those.

Hughes has slightly more and hasn't yet bowled; I don't know if he's been off the field but you'd think the man of the hour might have had a couple of overs in a total of 535-4.

Root nearly halfway to his 1000, but I suppose being picked for England will give him fewer innings in which to try and get there before the end of May.

Yeah, 52 to get, Essex probably just favourites again now. It's going to finish tonight I would think, whatever happens.

Ban the heavy roller. It was only Ravi and Ramps complaining last year. Ramps has retired and Ravi isn't scoring any runs this year either

It's such a myth that you can't bat in England in April/May

Yep, Bairstow looking like he could make it two double centurions, they're going at more than 9 an over from the last 10.

Notts have just lost their fifth, Mullaney gone ... phenomenal scoring at Headingley, 88 off the last 10 and more than 400 today - Bairstow could get 200 tonight at this rate ... 100 up for Essex ... Lancs hitting back with four wickets.

Anyone thinking of going to the game at the Oval on Monday btw?

Saly and Stumpski successfully deny Bairstow the double century.

I think he'll be reasonably happy with 186 - he hit a 6 the ball before he got out, with only a few balls to go, so fair play to him. I would have thought Yorkshire would want a few more, 650 perhaps, before trying to put the Derby batting under pressure.

Napier what a beast. Still think he's unlucky not to have played limited overs for England.
