yes i can't stand that bull****. Him, Dave Nosworthy and Mickey Arthur (before he deleted his account after getting a load of abuse) all seem to love giving a load of motivation crap full of key words.

But generally I think he is well respected both in the press and by the yorkshire players. Of course there is a certain reverance given to a great former player - and may overshadow their actual coaching/managing pedigree - but there has for the most part being positive reviews.

Being Yorkshire coach isn't particularly easy and in that respect he seems to have placated the members who always seem upset at something.

A yorkshire fan may be able to give you a better view but I think the general consensus is he has done well and is liked and respected.

Yeah could not cope with Masters......or Bopara.

Lower order runs really been the difference in this game.

Love listening to Gloucestershire batting when Jack Taylor is batting. He's like Graeme Swann on speed. Can be out any ball but is fun whilst he's out there.

Nash at Sussex is unlucky not to get Carberry's spot in the Lions team. Been a better bat in county cricket for the last couple of years and took 21 wickets last year and is quite often more of a threat than Panesar especially in the second innings.

Essex 16/3 and Cook gone, maybe this match is not over.

Westley run out twice in the same match.

    YES! Another Nashy fan

Root's average approaching 43 after being 37 last week. Not bad.

Jake Libby playing for Cardiff MCCU today after scores of 109,109,157, and 64* in the past ~10 days. Top scored too.

Yorkshire still trail too so it's basically a case of how many does he feel like scoring...

Ravi nearly got more wickets then runs in this match.
marc71178 - President and founding member of AAAS - we don't only appreciate when he does well, but also when he's not quite so good!

Team to bat till just before lunch tomorrow and hope scoreboard pressure brings a collapse in the Derbyshire 2nd innings. Poor pitch though to have nearly 900 runs and only 13 wickets in nearly 3 days.

Indians can't bowl - Where has the rumour come from as I myself and many indian friends arwe competent fast bowlers ?

With the English bid I said: Let us be brief. If you give back the Falkland Islands, which belong to us, you will get my vote. They then became sad and left

Have started to refer to him as 'the overseas player' in a somewhat dismissive tone.

Hampshire got to close this one out now, would be a great result.
