Sadly he is probably getting paid a lot more to play for our 2s than he would have been playing for Zim in tests.
Having said that, he isn't playing for our 2s today he is twelth man. The 2s are playing in the 2nd XI trophy final , slightly trolling the competition by playing Moore, Croft, Brown, Cross, Lilley & Parry in the side,

Hoggard retiring then and Harmy bound to follow. Suspect that Simon Jones will finally give it up as well come the end of the season as well, feels like they all retired a long time ago.
Our season well and truly over but good to see Vince and Dawson going well. Adams had a ridiculous season, 7 ducks and two double tons.
Michael Roberts has been really disappointing since coming into the team, hasn't taken his chance at all.
Yeah, doubt we will be seeing much of him next season.
Its a shame because he's a great example of working through the ranks from club level. Thought he might give it a good shot.
Hoggard retiring gives us the possibility of proper players next season. We might even win a match.
The speed at which a fielding team gets through the innings is overrated.
Eight years is a long time in cricket, I suppose.
From the crims there's only Katich, Clarke & Tait still doing the rounds too. & neither Katich nor Tait play their domestic FC.
Anyway, thanks for the memories, Hoggy. Great servant.

"Predictably, the ending of his international career did not end the argument about Pietersen's merits, as an army of informed commentators and Piers Morgan weighed in to defend or attack him."

Surrey and Somerset trying to get the game finished before the rain
Hopefully Katich will come back next year, nearly 1100 runs @ 77, 44* off 33 balls today.
Somewhat bitter about Katich I have to say, turned us down after doing not a lot last season.
