Went to the form book, a slow 12.
Shambles, sums up this season TBH.
Do I contradict myself?
Very well then I contradict myself,
(I am large, I contain multitudes.
Overton looks to have a yard and gets good bounce and seam movement. Accuracy obviously not there consistently yet though.
Funny how they're still wondering why Overton wasn't given the new ball even when he's getting spanked for nine an over....

I like how Scaly has decided Lewis Gregory is going to be his latest player to relentlessly talk trash about.
In his defence Gregory is a complete nothing player.
Jarvis should make his debut for us in place of Chapple this week - we have also dropped Gareth Cross for Alex Davies. A win would ensure promotion and almost guarantee the title
Yes, he's been a bit of a disappointment, considering all the hype, but I'm just putting that down to the hideousness of where he was born.
Honestly, believe him and the Overtons could be a very decent and contrasting attack for Somerset in a few years time.
His batting though is the terrible thing, the fact is that I'm sure he was touted as a batting all-rounder for much of his youth, but it just hasn't happened. A shame, but I kind of agree with Scaly that he shouldn't be batting at 6, let Chawla do it or anyone else. Needs to relax down the order and maybe he could score a few 30 or 40s and come on from there.
Aneesh Kapil released by Worcester (along with Michael Johnson). Imagine Kapil gets picked up somewhere.
Dom Sibley meant to be debuting tomorrow for Surrey. Tough first game against Somerset with it being must win for both teams.
Joe Root schooled for a bit in South Africa. Of all places in the Free State but at least it was at an English first language school St Andrews Bloemfontein. Probably the only one in Bloemfontein.

Bet that's where he learnt all his cricket from
For some reason we decided to pick Newby ahead of Jarvis...
