Warwickshire in for Compton/Buttler double. Be interesting to see if any other counties come in for them. Surely there are others.
So England management cherry picking all the squad members now. Monty to Essex and Giles getting these guys to Warwickshire.

Said when it was first rumoured Warwickshire would be a decent destination for Buttler. Ambrose will get in the side as a batsmen anyway so they can offer Jos the gloves whenever he is available and have good backup when he is away with England. Compton definitely an upgrade on Porterfield/Westwood

Derbyshire winning this game would certainly hot up the relegation stakes.

Haha Essex. They lose and the second division will just about be over with Northants and Lancs very strong favourites for promotion.

Well important for Jos and Nick to be playing in the first division

    Northants really under-bowling Copeland today
Indians can't bowl - Where has the rumour come from as I myself and many indian friends arwe competent fast bowlers ?

With the English bid I said: Let us be brief. If you give back the Falkland Islands, which belong to us, you will get my vote. They then became sad and left

    Chopra
    Compton
    Trott
    Bell
    Evans
    Clarke
    Buttler
    Woakes
    Barker
    Rankin
    Patel

Would never be able to field that side obviously, but it is rather mouthwatering.

    Wright better than Rankin IMHO.

Need the variation of Rankin. Already got two seam bowlers.

Six lately. Batted eight/nine until pretty recently though because of their balance.

Not to put a dampener on it but if it was first class I'd rather Ambrose than Buttler.

Nice to see Javid make a ton, felt rather sorry for him when he was stuck down at 8 earlier in the season and hardly bowling.

Yeah but if Buttler goes somewhere, he is having the gloves for all 3 formats. Rightly or wrongly. Ambrose could play as a specialist bat easily as well. As I said Trott/Bell not in the team so sub them for Ambrose and probably Troughton.

Buttler wouldn't go to the Bears though would he? Surely he'd be most wanted by a side that doesn't have a strong wicketkeeper?
