What was the first Test century you saw live at the ground?

As a callow and impressionable young cricketer, mine was Gooch's 154* at Headingley in 91

I'm actually trying to think of the first Test match that I went to. The first ODI I can pretty clearly; Aus vs Aus A, the second final at the MCG.

I think it might've been Langer in the 2002/03 series against England at the MCG.

Is that the triangular series where Aus A eliminated England and it was kind of a farce because of England's failure?

Alec Stewart at OT vs SL in 2002, although IIRC most of the crowd were in the car park watching the football at the time he reached 3 figures.

Until checking that scorecard, I'd never had guessed that Morgan has played 16 Tests

Yeah, third team in the triangular was Zimbos, so they included Aus A.

Hence, no longer a triangular.

i feel like I saw one earlier than Gilchrist in the Waugh test (i did not go the day Waugh tonned up), but I feel like there's no way I went to SA or WI or anything before that, so it probably is Gilchrist.

Flintoff's first wicket is Kallis snicking off. First dismissal is snicking off to Kallis. Pretty cool.

Damn, with the exception of Collingwood in Adelaide. How often is a double ton on the losing side? That must have been painful!
