Joe Root

Bahnz

Hall of Fame Member
The Captain at PDCC at the time, Rhett Fielke, is known to be a grumpy man but his treatment of a young, baby faced Joe Root went beyond grumpy. However, Joe's ability to deal with a captain who wouldn't bowl his right arm off spin and batted him at 7 (unless it was a green top then he would be opening the batting) was first class.

I mean seriously, is Joe's dad writing this?

Probably Fielke who did. If he's one of the Lobethal Fielke's, whole family has a sense of humour drier than Bundurra. R00gins to confirm if he's a Fielke Fielke?

Remember when they were supplying the whole Elizabeth team with bats; most struggled to lay wood on anything sent down at them because they were basically sleepers with grips.
