What he isn't is a top 6 batter which is where he has spent back to back tests.

Alien or not, doesn't seem to matter. He was dire against South Africa in his own conditions.
It's a different kind of alien. In England, for no obvious reason, you get wobble after the bat, which is an absolute nightmare to keep against. Very few overseas keepers go well on their first tour here for that very reason, and even then it can make you look an idiot (cf Dhoni 2011).
Have a look at 6:17-7:11 on this Prior masterclass video.
Haven't seen any of Wade's efforts this time around - anything specific that he's doing badly?

Hopefully he's aiming higher than that. Ian Healy, who obviously turned into one of our best pair of hands, was pretty awful early on, probably the 3rd or 4th best 'keeper in the country when he first played Tests. Heals concentration on getting better at 'keeping probably affected his batting so it depends on what the selectors are looking for too.
I'm no 'keeper but it seemed as if he's struggling to get there before the ball does, if you know what I mean.

He almost got hit in the nuts standing up. If there is any movement or variable bounce standing up he misses it. His hands get there late which tells me he doesn't know where the ball is going to be if the batsman misses.
Sort of **** I used to do when I filled in at keeper but I wasn't touring India impersonating a keeper.
Seems to me this is all Brad Haddin's fault. Bloke can actually keep, and can actually bat, but he's a ****ing retard with his stroke play and thus let Wade slip in to contention.
Even with Haddin's personal problems that allowed Wade to play in WI, I think if Haddin didn't have scrutiny over his batting prior to that, he'd have come back and replaced Wade when he was available again, even despite Wade doing well in WI.
Wade sucks balls. It is Brad Haddin's fault that we have been exposed to him sucking balls.
I think I could make every bad thing in life Brad Haddin's fault tbf.
Indians can't bowl - Where has the rumour come from as I myself and many indian friends arwe competent fast bowlers ?
With the English bid I said: Let us be brief. If you give back the Falkland Islands, which belong to us, you will get my vote. They then became sad and left
Obviously its not all Wade's fault but
Lyon with Wade 10M 36W @ 38.16 SR 77.1
Lyon with Haddin 10M 41W @ 28.68 SR 55.7
Think you could find 5-6 wickets in there reasonably easily.
+ time's fickle card game ~ with you and i +
So Lyon bowled pies to Dhoni because Wade was playing. That a new one.
