i don't think people under-rate the results, but i think you could argue he's under-rated as a batsman. if you get what i mean

People don't talk about him as he looks like a crab at the crease. I think the way he looks as he scores hinders the love. Been a brilliant servant to WI and a great player for them.

I think local club cricket, they put on a heap of runs together.

Imagine the warm up chat. Going around everyone and saying whether they got a root last night, gets to Shivs turn and Tagenarine is listening intently...

Well his first two games for Guyana haven't been the best to be honest, first game he played he kept patient and stayed in for a few hours but he was mostly defensive, then he lost patience and edged to slip, second innings he got in and was going nicely until he was stupidly run out by his partner for 32 runs.

Second game ended yesterday, both low scores, Barbados had a firey new pacer named Miguel Cummins who is the leading wicket taker thus far in the competition (13 in two games) and young Tange got roughed up a little, but i'm sure he will learn from it, the defence is just like his dads and he has the shots, it's just a matter of getting used to this level now.

Love the way these Indian names get twisted and anglicised over period. Shivanarayan Chandrapal became Shivnarine Chanderpaul. Tejnarayan becoming Tagenarine. Hopefully they pronounce it Taejnarine instead of Taagaynarine.

Yeah!!.. there's big speculation that he's gonna be picked for the Zim tests after his good performances in the ODI's of late, that ton in Aus was a very good one and showed his alround improvement, and maturity as a batsman.
