Cricket Web: All-Time Legend
Think you are clutching at straws if you are going to use an average that is better by a whopping margin of 1.5 and an ER that is actually worse than Harmison's to your advantage here. Not to mention that batting standards have more or less declined since Harmison's playing career and pitches have probably gotten more bowler friendly.

This argument of going back to a bowler who doesn't even know the meaning of what good bowling is is baffling to say the very least especially when you have some 5 other bowlers in their low-mid 20s barking up the tree with more potential, drive and likelihood of test success. Instead, for some reason there is an Australian obsession with the same radar-less, one trick pony who wrung out every bit of his novelty value to produce a semblance of success during a career spanning 6 years without actually ever, not once, showing the ability to improve.
Name one person that has picked Johnson as 1 of our 3 best quicks?

Bueller?

Bueller?

The point that has been made everywhere is that it is a ****ing disgrace that absolute hacks like Doherty and Maxwell are being picked as bowlers in front of Johnson

I wont bother commenting about the rest of your post as you have always been incredibly biased against Johnson and obviously havent seen him bowl since his return from injury

If I was Dhoni I'd declare at about 480 if I wanted a win (perfectly happy to predict a sub-200 Australian second innings), but get the nagging feeling he'd be happy with a draw to hang onto the Border-Gavaskar.

At the same time, vengeance for the last 4-0 must be sorely tempting.
