Cricketer Of The Year
Mohali being a sporting track for fast bowlers is probably the biggest myth as far as talk of Indian grounds go. Mohali is a typical Indian spinning wicket, and has been for the last few years. It should provide a significant amount of reverse swing, so in that sense the Aussie quicks have a chance, but it won't be swinging around with the new ball.

He's probably quite good at games where the way to carry the ball up the court is to drop it on the ground over and over again.

Sids was a good bloke with the crowd. After a day of toiling and getting battered around after bowling pies to Vijay and Pujara all day, he was still willing to muck around with the fans on the boundary. Was in good spirits.

Have never really been a Siddle fan, generally been off-put by his bogan nature and the fact he supports North Melbourne (:D) but I had a lot of respect for the guy after that.

Poor Doherty just had his head down all the time he was near the boundary.

lol Wade sprained his ankle playing basketball. Informed player management indeed..supervision that allows injuries through recreational activities unrelated to cricket.

I just KNEW that the sane and sensible Ganguly we have been getting on commentary was just a guise to put us all off from expecting opinions like this from him.. And then surprising us by actually giving such opinions.
Disgusting, isn't it? Money is a great lure, but it is striking how *empty* these ex players' lives are that they have to stay involved with the game in a capacity as diminished as a media stooge. Much respect to the great West Indians in that regard.
