Well, I wasn't thinking about it as an either/or situation. I'd drop both. My fear is Harby finagling a few wickets and buys himself a bunch more Tests, which would be more damaging than having Sharma around. Especially as I don't think we have anyone that great waiting that he's keeping out, so it doesn't matter if he buys himself more Tests, whereas there's a better alternative to Harbhajan already there.

Does anyone know what Doherty offers that made the selectors pick him over O'Queefe?

Yeah fair point. Roach is ace (though he didn't bowl well in Oz recently but it wasn't an important series anyway). Roach has to be rated higher than the young Aussie pacemen at this point imo. He has credentials and is alot fitter. Might all change in the future but give it to Roach atm.

No. Apparently the selectors don't really rate O'Keefe, and I think Doherty gets picked as he's in the Australian limited overs sides.

With the English bid I said: Let us be brief. If you give back the Falkland Islands, which belong to us, you will get my vote. They then became sad and left

If they drop Harbhajan though they bring in Ojha who is clearly a better bowler now. Can't see why Harbhajan got the nod unless they wanted the extra batting as it failed so often in recent times. A real Fletcher pick that.

And smalishah's avatar is the most classy one by far Jan certainly echoes the sentiments of CW

Yeah we don't crap in the first world; most of us would actually have no idea what that was emanating from Ajmal's backside. Why isn't it roses and rainbows like what happens here? PEWS's retort to Ganeshran on Daemon's picture depicting Ajmal's excreta
