First look at the pitch - looks feisty. straya took the right approach attacking at the start, Clarke to bowl Australia to victory and a back injury all in one.

Nah more like 300...that would be a very handy score because this pitch will be ridiculous batting last - it's already hugely variable in bounce on first day.

350 would be a sensational score.

Not sure I can think of a batsman with this kind of peak and with most the runs coming in at dire/tough times.

As for the other post, I guess Chanderpaul comes close as he has had a couple of ridiculous runs of form in a poor side.
