Jimmy to come back on now and put Wasim Akram to shame. Fast, swinging yorkers and bouncers on the menu. You heard it here first.

There was a white mark on Root's gloves, which were nowhere near the ball. Smith thought it was conclusive proof that he hit it.

Ignoring all other evidence.
Was he taking about the bright white spot that appears and dissapears?

Seemed pretty obvious that that was the spot on the ball itself where it hit the pitch, just happened to be pointing to the camera at that point..

Surprised no one else picked up on that. That's what I thought.

Ian Smith. Sigh. Why do they keep rolling out the same old tired former players. It's just jobs for the boys. Either that or ridiculous positive discrimination towards those predisposed to making ******** comments on the telly.

I'd prefer Rhodesia's former leader to be commentating. Also, he looks more healthy these days than the former Kiwi keeper.

Smith and McMillan talking about the power play has been about as painful as commentary gets.
