Devcich: too good.

Ain't nothin' world class bowlers can do when Anton Devcich gets his eye in.

Ian Butler
Ronnie Hira\Trent Boult
Mitchell McClenaghan

Do we know if Butler is injured?
McCullum is the perfect t20 opener.

The most halfwitted idea we ever had was dropping him back down the order.

IMO

McCullum
Guptill
Taylor

and I don't care about the rest.

That should be the top 3 as you have to give your most aggressive and best batsmen the chance to bat the longest

No guarantee that Taylor will play on Saturday.

I just don't think McHesson will select him.

Oh, right. Well, there is a part of me that thinks they'll do something stupid like that, and justify it with 'Ross hasn't played any T20 cricket lately', but surely even McHesson aren't that dumb?

Agree completely.

Also think it's somewhat true in ODI cricket as well, with the exception of Williamson who's demonstrated a superior ability to construct an innings.

"His international t20 record is not great and we think he should focus on test cricket"

I remember him carving up in the IPL for a couple of seasons. A real shame that Bangalore didn't keep him as he had quite a following it seemed.

Finn was really really **** yesterday. You expect that with Dernbach but Finn was god awful- didn't help the umpire calling a non existent no ball. Bit of a worry for the first t20 game.

Finn looked poor in the first game as well. Dernbach looks a little unfit now as well to compound his problems.

Least Broad looked decent although managing to maintain decent pace over a test match is completely different to 4 overs at top pace in t20 cricket.

Does Hesson really want to stir up controversy again?

The only batsmen in the squad (arguably) better than Taylor at T20 are Guptill and McCullum. If he doesn't select him he's an idiot.

Agree, surely you want to give him the maximum number of overs possible. He wouldn't have been able to score his 158 batting first or second drop.
