Looks like a nice day for batting. Though I see it's quite humid so I want to see some swing.
If TMS commentary is anything to go by this has been the Nickelback of test series. Every overseas seems to be getting off about how bad it is.

Exit pursued by a bear
If he had been out there....
That is not intelligent running, Jonathan.

If that had have been Prior keeping, he'd have been the other side of the stumps and it would have been run out. Discuss.
Suicidal run from Bell, very lucky to get in.
Anyone think Watling was just a fraction slow to remove the bails? And he took it a reasonable distance back from the stumps.
If the keeper stands in front of the stumps it negates any chance of a direct hit, so it's not a worthwhile tactic imo.
Southee bowling well this morning - this will be interesting. Maybe leg side.
Blarg please don't be umpire's call
edit: WOOOO TIMMEH
I just wish the NZ bowlers were more consistent with their line/length. Seems every over there's at least one if not two loose deliveries.
Edit: And as I criticise them they get a wicket !
