***Official*** England in New Zealand series 2013

Finn and Broad have been pretty poor.

Onions was terrible in the warm up.

Suddenly England's bowling depth doesn't look so great.

Edit: Actually, NZ's seam bowling depth is looking quite good; Boult, Southee, Wagner, Bracewell, with McClenaghan and Butler in the wings.

England's seam bowling depth, like NZ's, like Australia's, is very fitness-dependent. Disappointing that Tremlett seems to be always injured for England, while Broad is perhas hampered by his injury too (that or he's just failed to improve).

For us, our bowling stocks look potentially good however only Southee, Boult and to some extent Bracewell have proven themselves at international level so far. I'm hoping one of McClenaghan or the under-23 quicks surpasses Wagner and Bracewell pretty soon (or those two improve).

The explanation for McCullum batting at six is an interesting one. He WANTS to bat with the tail. He feels our tail hasn't been producing the runs they're capable of and he feels he can get more out of them if he's there at the other end. It's a fascinating theory.

Rutherford. What a man.

Really need to grind England into the dust here, turn a strong position into an unbeatable one

Buggeration.

Three starts from Williamson, Taylor and Brownlie, with generous drops from England included, and we're not capitalising.

Don't want to see us bowled out with a lead less than 250.
