I wasn't fully joking though. I rate Trott as an ODI player, but 26 off 52 isn't really good enough, especially as he's not the sort who can catch up easily.

Joe Root and Quinton de Kock both look about 12 to me. Reckon his club tried to sneak him into lower age group games when he was a kid, especially as he was probably the best batter in the league.

Yeah, but would bell's situation have been any better if the number 3 had got out early. We could have been 30-4. Having said that I agree this is slow even for him.
