I doubt it will be a draw though......with the amount of psychological damage that SA have done in the first test they might actually win in the UAE too

Why isn't it roses and rainbows like what happens here? PEWS's retort to Ganeshran on Daemon's picture depicting Ajmal's excreta |

Our players have the temprement but not the technique to play the moving ball. We need to work on their technique at the domestic level and improve the standard of our pitches. Another problem is that new bowlers don't know how the swing the new ball either way. Again by improving pitches that will naturally bring about a change over time. Until then expect the same results overseas from the FTB's.

even if Pakistan bowl first on a green track and manage to top SA's first innings score once the wicket flattens out, it's gonna be pretty hard to get them again in the second innings.
I think batting first is the only hope because Ajmal will still be a bit of a mystery against the lower order and tail. |

yeah we have to get Ajmal in the game if we are to stay in the game. IMO Ajmal did not bowl well in the first game even if the conditions were against him barring Kallis and Amla I expect him to create troubles for every one if he has some runs to play with but first we need to find those runs from somewhere.

Akmal coming into the side for Shafiq will only do people who support South Africa good. I don't feel Pakistan need to change the team much, this is the best they've got and there's no point chopping and changing. The one change I'd make would be anyone in for Rahat Ali though. He was a passenger in the 1st test and Pakistan can't afford one. Who should replace him? I'm not entirely sure, but I think anyone would be a better option.
