Yeah we don't crap in the first world; most of us would actually have no idea what that was emanating from Ajmal's backside. Why isn't it roses and rainbows like what happens here? PEWS's retort to Ganeshran on Daemon's picture depicting Ajmal's excreta

    PEWS posting on cricinfo

"I think Steyn should be dropped for the next test. He just bowled one over for 5 runs without taking a wicket. Where is his commitment!" Johan Struwig, success seems to have got to his head"

Actually the ball seems moving less than yesterday. If they can refrain from brainfarts like the one on the last ball of the first Philander over, they might really have a chance for a (at least) decent score.

EDIT: And this game teaches me a good lesson. Never again predict anything with Pakistan involved. Never.

Days 3 and 4 are the best for batting here and scoring 250+ in the 4th innings isn't anything new.

But Pak are already 1 down after a sedate start from the South African pacers.

I'm curious to see how much turn will Peterson be able to extract from this pitch (assuming we get to see him). It might be also because of the weather, Steyn is getting almost no swing at all.

I think Steyn looked much much more dangerous than Philander because of those couple of extra yards of pace

Philander has taken 21 Test wickets @ 12 at Cape Town though.

    His turn coming right up.

Morkel must consider himself unlucky on this wicket... some of those balls were wonderfully bowled.

any bowler bowling to the pakistani batsmen should consider himself unlucky if he doesn't get wickets
