It's just possible for both of these two to get 100s - but not if South Africa keep bowling wides.

Steyn getting angry at the batsmen for not going after him is quite amusing.

Good catch that, not that the shot was really necessary.

    Afridi what an idiot.

He could have been a much better player if he controlled his innings.

Afridi gone with 44 needed ... what's Pakistan's tail like? Don't have Umar Gul at 8 again I hope.

I'm not sure why people have a problem with the obstruction decision.

    This is the law:

For the avoidance of doubt, if an umpire feels that a batsman, in running between the wickets, has significantly changed his direction without probable cause and thereby obstructed a fielder’s attempt to effect a run out, the batsman should, on appeal, be given out, obstructing the field. It shall not be relevant whether a run out would have occurred or not.
The change of direction was significant and Hafeez had no innocent reason for the change of direction (he was not being obstructed). What possible reason could there be not to give him out?

    But there was probable cause.

He was heading staright for the middle of the pitch, which is why he changed direction. And looks lke he doesn't see ABCD throwing the ball. More like watching Fart.

Pretty obvious for me. He's running to the stumps to obstruct the ball.

Huh? Why would a batsman increase the length he's got to run?

No, he started running next to the pitch and if he had continued running in that direction, he would have ended up next to the pitch on the other side. The change of direction is when he started running towards the stumps.

It is made to look significant by where on the pitch he changed (ie halfway) but it isn't actually that big an actual change and is clearly a byproduct of looking over his shoulder so not intentional.
