Damn Afridi's knock was ridiculous entertainment.... how can you not love him? so unpredictable, but when he has a good day, boy is it fun to watch

That six he hit which went out of the ground probably looked bigger than it was because of how tiny the stadium is but it was still obviously HUUUUUGE. Any measurements?

A rare innings from Afridi. Next time you'll see this from him will be in another 2 years, so Afridi has ensured his spot in the side for the next 2 years and just in time for the WC. But in between that time, he will be as good as a number 11.

Afridi’s record for most number of sixes is never going to broken, is it?

Has over 100 more than the Gayle, the closest active player to him and for someone like Dhoni to surpass him, MS would have to play 200+ ODIs more going by MS six to innings ratio.

Great watching Afridi come off as he strikes the ball so cleanly and that inside out cover shot he has, only guys like Tendulkar can play that, serious shot.

As for the game, only way South Africa have a chance is if AB and Hash perform and still the bowlers had trouble defending this. Steyn’s a great bowler but unless you are going to give him two slips or more all the time, he isn’t taking a huge volume of wickets in ODIs, as the edges go for four. The vast majority of Steyn’s test wickets are caught behind yet he bowls in ODIs with only the keeper behind the bat, it doesn’t make sense.

A photo on facebook says that he broke the record for the longest measured 6. Apparently he hit this one 158 metres. No way to verify though

Agreed

Just looks like a floaty medium fast nothing bowler to me

Whenever I see him bowl, I dread to think what Hayden and Gilchrist would've done to him and can imagine them strolling down the pitch and depositing him several rows back on a regular basis

Obviously more to him than I give him credit for
He's a left armed Kyle Mills. He's never going to catch your eye ripping apart a team, but up-front he always does just enough with it to cause trouble and get a few scalps.

Lobsy has a strike rate of 27.99. The 3rd best of all time for 50wickets or more. He goes for less then 5 an over. Since his injury return he has not returned to form yet.

de Kock rose to the challenge again last night, 73 off 40 balls. Why haven't they fully recognised this blossoming talent? Seems odd they have been keeping players around the squad like Ontong who never were and never will be instead of banking on the blossoming skills of de Kock,
