Lol, how can the 3rd umpire take into account Kleinveldt reacted and celebrated immediately when giving his decision? You just can't do that.

If the batsman doesn't walk, you have to just look at the pictures. Can't go "well Kleinvelt was sure he touched the ball before it hit the stumps so I'm going to give it out, even if the pictures don't conclude that he touched it".

In the end I reckon the pictures showed he touched it, but these commentators are being douchey.

Lol this is unbelievable, arguably one of the worst bowling line ups south africa has fielded since I can remember... And pakistan still throws it away.

With this bowling line up we should target atleast 350
This bowling line up is not even close to as bad as you keep implying. Tsotsobe is a former World #1 and is easily one of the best ODI bowlers in the world. Kleinveldt is majorly underrated as a limited overs bowler, Robbie P is a very good limited overs bowler (it pains me to say it) and McLaren is very, very useful. Abbott is probably not my first choice in limited overs, but even he is pretty useful.

Despite the win, the team doesn't inspire confidence. The middle order and bowling are main areas of concern.

This was a fab. knock by Ingram. Usually he struggles to find singles but today he played really well.
That's the misconception. He's actually really good at finding singles. He's been overawed at times so far in his international career, but today is more how he usually plays for the warriors.

Not really. Bare in mind that this isn't the full-strength team.

For the Champions Trophy we're looking at

1)Smith
2)Amla
3)Kallis
4)de Villiers
5)du Plessis
6)Ingram/Berhardien/Miller
7)McLaren
8)Peterson
9)Steyn
10)Morkel
11)Tsotsobe

more or less. Personally if Ingram played, I'd bat him at 3 and push all of the others down a spot. I can't remember if Duminy was backed to be fit by the Champs League; if so he takes the number 6 spot.

McLaren is actually your #7 at full strength? Really?

Unpopular player these days but I'd honestly prefer even Albie; at least he adds something in theory even if not regularly in practice. McLaren is just blehk as a one day player.

I'm personally not a fan of players like Albie. I think his batting doesn't make up for the amount of runs he'd likely leak when bowling. But I don't actually think an all-rounder at 7 is necessary with a full strength SA line up, as I think Kallis and Duminy can probably get 10 overs done in an ODI. I'd rather go with McLaren ahead of Albie though as I feel he's a better bowler. I'd rather SA went in with 7 batsman, maybe even with de Kock at 7, or 5 specialist bowlers (which would include McLaren) instead of throwing in an all-rounder who's rarely done anything in his international career.

Look I like Ryan, and he did pretty well vs new Zealand compared to the other guys, I could maybe fit Kleinveldt in at that number 7 spot, he can really go after the bowling, and lately when he starts hitting them a mile he loses partners then gets out throwing everything at balls he should maybe look for a gap, but he should improve with experience, Petersen pretty much takes wickets when we create pressure from the opposite end and the batsmen really go after him, which is okay if we create pressure plus he still has about 998 brownie points from that 80odd vs Pakistan in the test series. Tsotsobe is good, I like him in the team.

This bowling line up may not be the worst in the world, but its certainly the weakest line up i think we have played... that said who else can we pick...

My team for the CTrophy

Smith
Amla
Kallis
AB
Faf/Ingram
Duminy
Kleinveldt/McLaren
Robbie P (I prefer Botha, but Its highly inlikely)
Morkel
Steyn
Tsotsobe

I've always been a big Miller fan, but it feels like he is regressing, so too with Morne Morkel when we expect things from him. Tahir might get back into the squad. I like that they gave Behardien a few overs, even if it didn't mean much in the end, give Faf a few overs next game. 15 overs from Faf, Duminy and Kallis would be GOLD.

ETA: In hindsight, I was a bit harsh on Morne, he has done well for us.

Nice to hear Jackman on the airwaves again.

Great start by Pak. South Africa are still miles away in limited overs stuff, just got two batsman, Hash and AB and this bowling attack is awful. Faf is getting a lot of game time for a guy with a very average record and numbers 7 and 8 should all move down one.

Pakistan have a seriously shaky batting lineup for this game. Pinch hitter at 3, bowling allrounder at 7, Umar Gul at 8. RSA will be kicking themselves that they won't be able to put any pressure on it.

Mohammad Hafeez to Abbott, FOUR, Behardien goes, trying to accelerate, took on Hafeez there, tried to clear deep square leg off that slightly short delivery but found the fielder
right.
