What's the aim supposed to be for these again? Are we picking a side to play the other combined teams, or just saying who we think the best Test cricketers have been?

Sehwag should be lock if it's the latter, extremely doubtful if it's the former.

In the end Merchant came home with a wet sail and won comfortably over Sehwag: 16 to 11

So our openers are Sunil Gavaskar & Vijay Merchant.
