Too late, but I quite like how straight and vertical Philander's arm is when he releases the ball.

Not too late if you want to add Philander.

And smalishah's avatar is the most classy one by far Jan certainly echoes the sentiments of CW

Yeah we don't crap in the first world; most of us would actually have no idea what that was emanating from Ajmal's backside. Why isn't it roses and rainbows like what happens here? PEWS's retort to Ganeshran on Daemon's picture depicting Ajmal's excreta

Surely, Paul Adams' action should be universally recognised as the best bowling action ever

My favourite bowling actions (and I'll be talking about bowlers whom I've seen bowl live and not about those who bowled much before I was born) are-

    Curtly
    Donald
    Brett Lee
    Srinath

And from the spinners, Kumble and Warnie. I quite liked Mushtaq Ahmed's action too.

    Donald
    Lillee
Bedi/Maninder/Shastri (all had beautiful action me thinks)
    Qadir

Terry Alderman -- used to imitate him as a young boy making really sure the pinkie and ring finger on the left hand is bent ..nice easy action
