Too late, but I quite like how straight and vertical Philander's arm is when he releases the ball.

Surely, Paul Adams' action should be universally recognised as the best bowling action ever

My favourite bowling actions (and I'll be talking about bowlers whom I've seen bowl live and not about those who bowled much before I was born) are-

Curtly
Donald
Brett Lee
Srinath

And from the spinners, Kumble and Warnie. I quite liked Mushtaq Ahmed's action too.
