Anyone mentioning Shane Warne has to mention David Warner as well ftr.

My favourite action is probably Curtly Ambrose's or Dale Steyn's. Really dig Umesh Yadav's as well.

Not sure why people like Imran's so much, find it meh personally.

Yeah we don't crap in the first world; most of us would actually have no idea what that was emanating from Ajmal's backside. Why isn't it roses and rainbows like what happens here? PEWS's retort to Ganeshran on Daemon's picture depicting Ajmal's excreta

Yeah, it's that jumpy-thing that Imran does in his delivery stride that puts me off his action.

Just watched this video of Jeff Thomson in action (incidently, one of the best videos of Thomo I've seen) and I'd have to agree with Richie Benaud's comment in the opening sequence - "But just have a look at him in slow motion, that's one of the most marvelous bowling actions I've ever seen". Also, I wouldn't want to be Clive Lloyd's jaw in the 1976 series - ouch!

Like a proper fanboy, I'll throw a nomination in for Keith Miller too. He didn't have the so-beautiful-you-want-to-cry smoothness of his new ball partner, but his action was wonderfully high and dynamic. When he could be arsed, anyway.

I nominated Ted McDonald too. There's very little footage of him, but it does exist.

^ Actually, forget it mate. It's fine if people want to rank only 1,2 or 3 bowlers, I can adjust points accordingly.
