Anyone seen Oliver Hannon-Dalby of Yorkshire's run up while bowling ? Surely the funniest ever ?

Whatever else one thinks about Murali's action it looked as rough as arseholes.
Ignoring the controversial part of his action, I do think he had a very effective action bio mechanically speaking. I can watch him all day.

Francis explains why his action is special: Best bowling actions ever

No-one's arguing it isn't effective, it just isn't an attractive one. Having Murali in a battle of the "best bowling action" would be like having Graeme Smith in a "most aesthetically pleasing batsman" comp; he's very good at what he does but let's not pretend he is what he isn't.

It's arguably done more damage to the sport than any action before or since too.
Cricket Web's 2013/14 Premier League Tipping Champion

    - As featured in The Independent.

"as much a news event as an actual footballer, a worthy stop-start centre forward, but an all-time hyper-galactico when it comes to doing funny things with cars and hats, a player whose signing proves once again that the Premier League is still undoubtedly the best in the world when it comes to doing things with cars and hats."
    - Barney Ronay on Mario Balotelli

Happy to take any nominations, although I highly I doubt Murali will last long once the battles start.

Don't recognize the damage. Do read Francis' take on it. Best bowling actions ever

    I stick with my nomination.

FFS atleast dont mix the troll votes in with your genuine nominations... makes it really confusing. Inzi? seriously?

Sarwan deserves a nomination too, obviously everyone knows why

I read it. I politely demur.

& the damage is obvious; those who seek to emulate Murali without his unique physical blessings really do throw it.

Always enjoyed watching Graeme Swann in action. Lovely smooth action.
