I have acknowledged that I wouldn't mind us touring though in the interests of the money generated by the BD and Sydney tests the preference for world cricket would be that we host them.

SA is entitled to tests at this time too and there's no reason why we couldn't tour there at this time as we did prior to isolation but they rather made a mockery of their claims by scheduling a T20 on BD and not playing a summer test until the new year. They could have hosted NZ using the same dates as our Hobart, Melbourne and Sydney tests yet chose to go the T20 route.

I went to the middle day of the BD test and the mismatch made it one of the last memorable days of cricket in my BD tests living memory.

They scheduled a T20 because the test matches over there are a ghost town. SA cricket supporters needs to actually support their side first of all.

Have I missed some deleted posts? Briony is actually making sense here. Tests around the NY and Xmas period are the big ticket matches, it's annoying to have weak opposition for these tests, especially now we've had them two summers in a row (h)

Might have missed the bit where Briony suggested Australia tour SA over Saturnalia and NY.

Pretty sure Daemon was referring to netmatrix's sweet, friendly offering directed at Briony.

Test cricket should revolve around Australia and England. If the Ashes weren't so big test cricket probably wouldn't be around these days.

Australia should always be entitled to host a Boxing Day test match, and I don't think it really matters whether it's the undercard or not who is playing at this time of year.

Yeah we don't crap in the first world; most of us would actually have no idea what that was emanating from Ajmal's backside. Why isn't it roses and rainbows like what happens here? PEWS's retort to Ganeshran on Daemon's picture depicting Ajmal's excreta
