It's an unwritten rule of this place that it's Tests unless specifically stated otherwise. And now you've made me write it.

Think the general CW rule is that if there's no mention of a particular format, they mean tests.

Edit: Damn it Cribb.

sorry test cricket

don't think Ajmal is a clear number one unless he has atleast one good series outside Asia and Windies.I will go for Swann due to more well rounded record atm.

Swann
Ajmal
Hearth
Rehman
Monty
Shakib
Ojha

Swann/Ajmal are around the same for me.

Herath would be next best, and then any of Ojha, Narine, Panesar, Rehman, lyon, Ashwin

Shakib has done **** all with the ball for a while now unfortunately, dropped down my order

Yeah we don't crap in the first world; most of us would actually have no idea what that was emanating from Ajmal's backside. Why isn't it roses and rainbows like what happens here? PEWS's retort to Ganeshran on Daemon's picture depicting Ajmal's excreta

Tbf, that won't be many completed 4 test series in India and Mushtaq took them in 3 IIRC.

yeah and this was only a season after Warne had been destroyed by Sachin and Co. Was a genuine big 3 during that time period along with Warne and Murali.

Ajmal/Swann
Monty
Hareth

Don't know about the rest except that Tahir is right at the bottom.

I think Ajmal needs to prove that he is good enough to be at the top for the series in RSA. Abdul Rahman had one good series against England which doesn't mean anything much at the moment.

Given how well spinners are supposed to age him and Bhajji have to take a long hard look at themselves.
