    Battle of the Elegance

This battle is to see who CW thinks was the best player to watch, not merely the best player.

    Nominate away.
    5-0

    RIP Craig Walsh (Craig) 1985-2012

Proudly supporting the #2 cricketer of all time.

    Nominate:

David Gower (should probably win this tbh)
    M Waugh
    L Rowe
    M Jayawardene
    G Chappell
    D Vengsarkar
    A Kalicharan (sp?)
    F Worrell
M Samuels (seriously, so much time it's ridiculous)

    S Chanderpaul

Lot of high backlifts in that list. Don't think it's a coincidence.

Indians can't bowl - Where has the rumour come from as I myself and many indian friends arwe competent fast bowlers ?

With the English bid I said: Let us be brief. If you give back the Falkland Islands, which belong to us, you will get my vote. They then became sad and left

    Mark Waugh. Just perfect.

If I could be any cricketer I've seen, I'd be him.

Viv is a different story. Brutal, but not as beautiful.

Definitely the two I've most enjoyed watching.

    An older Lillee perhaps.

But the run-up of a young Dennis Lillee looked like he was "elbowing his way through a crowd". Not very elegant.
