Instead of imagining older players kitted up in helmets and chest guards I find the thought of modern players playing without protective gear a much more entertaining thought. Most of them would be toast with their front foot planting and stand-still hook/pull shots IMO
Oh for a strong arm and a walking stick

Oh and them having to deal with sticky wickets. Would be great fun to watch them fail

I wish modern day batsmen would average over 55 when they "drop their bundle"

Wasn't number 4 position called the Pollock position? Why is he at 5?

Haha I don't know why it is but people never pick up when Bahnz is having a laugh.

I think it's because we all imagine him to talk like Eeyore.

    Proudly supporting Central Districts

He got less votes than Dudley, whose preferred was also #4.

think Pollock at 4 and Nourse at 5 would be ideal fitting in the order. Both played majority in 4th position but Nourse was very successful too at no.5 averaging 82 from 5 matches with a double ton. Also considering the kind of batsmen they were, it would best fit if Pollock came at 4 followed by Nourse in this batting order.
