Dropped twice in three balls. South Africa obviously want to bat again.

Steyn is bowling some serious filth here, with the odd peach thrown in to keep the batsmen honest.

Saffers feeling sorry for us. Though, being fair to Kallis, that was only really a Guptill-chance.

Apart from on the first morning, SA have actually been a bit sloppy this test. Batsmen getting out in soft ways, and now they're spraying it around and dropping catches. Clearly, our positive intent has got to them.

Elgar really has provided nothing for them given that AB has keeper allows them to play an extra batsman or bowler.

At least we're pissing them off. That's good to see.

Odds on an SA win have collapsed to $200. Serious value if you have a spare hundred grand handy.

Brownlie equals NZ's first innings score. Really shows the benefits of the top 3 batting out the first 20 odd overs.

With the cracks widening the kiwis could yet put some pressure on the saffers.

Good 50 from McCullum. Didn't think he'd last very long during the first 10 overs, but far play to him, he battled through, and has started to take advantage of some loose stuff this session.

Highly unlikely. I'll still be surprised if SA have to bat again - we're still 185 behind. Absolute maximum, SA will need to chase a total of 100 or so.

72 off the last 10 overs.

Are they looking to have a lead tonight?

Nah. Maybe if we'd battled and scrapped our way up to 150 in the first innings. But we're just too far behind now, and while these two are going well at the moment, they're both living charmed lives.
