Nope. More pertinently Anderson while not being the best strike bowler - still definitely nothing to turn down, mind - has been remarkably tight, almost Ambrose-tight, for the last couple of years.

He'd be an exceptional third pacer as of right now.

To be fair, he hasn't really looked any worse than his compatriots.

    Speak of the devil...

Bond and Franklin reckon he's bowling closer to what he was when he was actually a bowler now, will be interesting to see what this is like.

He looks shot. 125k, straight up and down, it's like watching Ravi Bopara.

Get the feeling it might be a farewell on this evidence.

C'mon Bahnz. Boult and Bracewell haven't been great but Martin has looked terrible, struggling just to get the ball down to the other end.

Alright Franklin on so it's bedtime for me.

As the commentators were discussing him, I just had the depressing realisation that Franklin is our 'Kallis".

Franklin's been saying that for years now. 119kph, pretty lethal stuff.

    Shane Bond comments evaluation:

[x] Bracewell has remembered how to bowl outswingers
[ ] Franklin has remembered how to bowl
