I just saw White on the news. He refused to express any support for Taylor, which is a bad sign. Or just the act of a tactless and incompetent administrator. It's NZ Cricket so it's hard to tell.

History tells you when a guy refuses to answer a straight question like that that he is hiding something. Taylor is sacked and this is a shambles. Hope he remains a player as he is great to watch but couldn't blame him if he walked. New Zealand will regret this if they have chased him away from the team.

Radio Sport ringing off the hook.
Interesting calls: 1) McCullum had to suck it up after he lost the captaincy bid so now Taylor should have to if the tables are turned according to one caller 2) Racism is to blame according to another 3) One guy phoned in who admitted he didn't follow cricket but the story had caught his imagination so wanted to give his 2 cents.

At this rate McCullum will be running out of test standard mates.

I'll lose a lot of respect for Taylor if he just rolls over and takes this. |
