find it odd Til Dil and Matthews are not even getten half of the love Kohli/Dhoni got for thier partnership despite facing an exact same situation. Sure that track is tougher but Indans should be use to low and slow while SL have come in to the game pretty unprepared.

If that is the best spell Lyon has ever bowled he is not better than Swann. Surely you can see that?

You couldn't say Kohli and Dhoni were lucky. Matthews and Dilshan have definitely rode their luck, big time.

Good luck to them though, but post-lunch they've batted weirdly.

What the?

Bowlers will appeal for something that misses by a metre. Proper edge and nothing.

I said it's as good a spell as I've seen him bowl.

Since when does bowling well mean you automatically get wickets?

That's because Til Dil & Mathews haven't exactly been digging in, so much as being lucky. Mathews in particular has looked bewildered for the most part this session.

tbf have not seen much of their partnership but they are batting in much more alien conditions even if they are easier.

Was only a faint edge, reckon the wind would've made it difficult to hear given it's blowing away from Siddle.
