**** off spark, he's lying too. forgot about hilf at perth for one, or is it that they thought hastings was just a better bowler than him. resting warner for these odi's was ********. planning for starc to play 3 formats with bone spurs is bone headed. genuine questions are being asked because there's some wierd **** going on, getting all defensive about it is telling

i don't think there's anything weird abotu warner's resting. if anything, given the last 6-7 years, it would have been weirder to see warner (& wade) line-up in these games

wade yes. resting them all at once, no. warner could have had the next 2 games off, having just played these two, with the others coming back. usman missing days after debuting was wierd. bird yet to play is wierd.

NUFAN

Y no Afghanistan flag
- Hastings and Quiney protected Bird and Hughes

- Craig Philipson is completely right about Maxwell who is a solid 12th man option at best.

- Doherty playing for Australia often gives every unco kid hope.

- Not giving Khawaja a second chance, especially at Adelaide was a poor selection.

EDIT - didn't even read uvelocity's post until after I posted tbh.

and it's taken 3 games to finally cost us, but they have treated the little sri lankan's side with no respect, playing ditch mitch at 7 in sydney and these 2 odi teams

They're all the wrong questions, though. People are completely barking up the wrong tree, going on about "you have to play the best XI in every match" and "oh, if the bowler thinks he's ok, then let him play" which is just a beyond-stupid way to select a team. The debate going on in the public is just completely bereft of logic or sense.

the public wants the best team picked for every game ever, with no injures ever while still having good proven options on the sideline in all positions #noproblem
