Cowan obviously thinking he's KP batting out his crease like that. Yeah, bowling isn't quick but this is the first session.

He was doing the same against SA. Its nothing personal against the little Sri Lankans.

If we disregard the no-balls, they've bowled decent so far. Spikey's bro Spark mentioned it before about Hughes moving across his stumps a lot, that flick down to fine leg would have hit middle to off stump, he wouldn't want to miss one of those.

Just watched Hughes play his first couple of overs and he is still playing backward/forward defensive shots to balls that are literally 6th/7th stump.

Best of luck in England son, you're going to need it.

He's a 23 year old with 26 first class ton's , and 3 test centuries.

I don't think he needs your help tbh.


Didn't he just average over 100 through the last county season?.....
