Worst dismissal ever?

7th December 2012 - LRPL Taylor dismissed from captaincy of the Black Caps by a combo of the coach, an opener and the combined hierarchy of New Zealand Cricket.

Sure, his record might suggest that dismissal was inevitable, but the method of dismissal sinks to never-before-seen depths of ineptitude from the fielding side.

Ian Bell vs Warne produced some funny moments too, although I'm not sure there were too many rash shots...just no shot. There's an LBW that's pretty entertaining to watch.

Has Gower's "couldnt give a ****" waft to a ball down the leg side to get out to a leg trap field the last ball before lunch at Adelaide in 90/91 already been mentioned?

Fills the criteria - lack of awareness of game situation, out to a bad ball, clueless and careless and helped destroy team morale and relationships. The type of shot that makes your teammates question why they are bothering.

IIRC in 2005 Warne had spent an entire over bowling leg breaks on off stump, then threw in a straight one that Bell left and got hit on the pad infront of middle. IIRC Warne barely got an appeal out because he was laughing so much.

I think the one you're talking about is the first one here.

Indeed.

In isolation that looks a lot worse, but Warne set him up beautifully.

IIRC, Warne admitted that that was a leg break that just didn't spin. Unlucky for Bell if so.
