Also, I think you are stretching it to say MacGill was a lot better than Saqlain. I liked MacGill's ability to take a swag of wickets and I wouldn't have changed him for Saqlain during Australia's run so I probably would narrowly have MacGill in front, but the other team already has Hadlee and Waqar likely to take a heap of wickets so Saqlain (who could still take wickets at a decent rate) would be very useful and it wasn't a comparison that I was making anyway.

Your team does have big names - Barry Richards, Andy Roberts, Kapil Dev are All Time Greats and Sangakarra and Inzy are big names too.
Aravinda has a better average, but as I said I think Hooper suffered always playing with the tail, he often lacked support and then would lose his wicket forcing the issue and knowing he will run out of partners.

I was never a big Saqlain fan. I much preferred Mustaq Ahmed to him in terms of Pakistan spinners of the same era.

Kal El - Sobers and Hadlee in the same team? Auto win.
Pistonbroke - Not a bad lineup but Cairns has no business batting ahead of an amazing batsman like Basil.
Vladimirllyich - Terribly ordinary side. Few in there whom I don't rate at all.
Aussie Scouser - Despite the terrible username, this is quite a strong team.
Yozzer - Not bad at all.
Thebitch - Gun username and not a bad side. You seem to have brought in some good teams for this round.

Vote for Kal El and Aussie Scouser.

And neither teams compromised much on their bowling, with having balance and variety.

But seriously, I would just vote for the best team and not care who made it.

BTW, I reckon people are being extremely harsh on Dhoni. Reckon he is a must in an 18 man draft - Vaughan too.

For me I quite like Jairzinho's team because he's picked his team in a reasonable batting order for starters. I'm a fan of Ian Sea's team too. I could see Lee, Fraser, Morkel and Flintoff working quite well together really - with Warne and the batting lineup is good.

Stu Monty's team pisses me off, he's picked about 6 specialist number 5 and 6 batsman.

Jairzinho and Ian Sea for me.

LFD, how long did it take you to complete the draft?

But, Its tough to choose between Ian Sea, Lifetime Fan and Navman. But, I would edge towards Navman. Lifetime Fan should have swapped Gayle and Goddard.
Looks a top forum this, LFD.

It's not hard when you can base your posts around picking off factual inaccuracies tbf. The Andy Flower opening thing was pretty amusing.
