Yeah but there's other guys averaging 45 as well. Again, it's only what I hear.

Nah, I'd give Dougeh another over. Troubled Sam in that over.

FFS Taylor, bring mid-on up when Randiv is on strike!

Astle is just too slow. Batsmen have plenty of time to adjust to the spin, even on the rare occasions when he gets it in the right areas. He needs to be 5-10 k's quicker.

Faaar, 70kph. No danger of him doing the Nethula dart throwing act.

Can a leg spinner be effective bowling between 70-79k's constantly? You wouldn't think so.

Is Martin not playing because he's rested, retired or dropped?

Southee starring though.

Depends on whether or not you're playing Plunket Shield cricket.

Little known bloke called Warne managed it, I hear. Had a mate called MacGill who was pretty into looping it up too.

wasn't Warne in the 80s?

a lot of bowlers have a natural speed that works fine for them. Astle is nearing the loopy lolly end though.

Stock ball rarely went to the mid 80s. Was late 70s-early 80s generally.
