I don't mind Kruger - he isn't Ian Smith with the gloves but he is an upgrade on Reece Young purely on glove work.
It's happened so many times in the past few months.
In the West Indies Taylor wouldn't go for them, expecting the keeper to take them as is the norm. Now he's moved closer in and he's still expected to take the ones moving in towards the keeper. It's cost him his confidence as a slip fielder and also puts off the rest of the cordon.
I'm a Kruger fan - saved us (CD cap on) numerous times with the bat, is compact and always in for a scrap. He can also take some great catches - but with our keeping depth he needs to show something more than 30s and ducks very soon.
I love how much Steve hates him though. Will be a sad day for CW if Kruger gets dropped.

I find excuses for players I like.
Maybe a move to mid-on is in order.
Whatever the answer is, they need to ****ing sort it out.
Imagine if we'd dropped one of those catches in Hobart.
Understand you wouldn't have seen a lot of Youngy, Hurricane, but he's an infinity better gloveman than Kruger. He's generally been accepted as being the best gloveman on the domestic scene - at least before Hopkins got them ahead of him this season. If he'd known McGlashan was going to retire before the contracts came out, he'd have gone to ND.
And Hendrix is right, it's happened far too often. Not being funny but genetically being a midget is a big factor.
Pain in the ass lil toad.
Maybe it was just nerves.
Yeah, purely nerves. Hesson was still talking about him as an option at the start of his reign. John Wright didn't like the earring and the tatts, wasn't prepared to give him a better go and he's now done for.
i swear he nicked that
Crap I was appealing for that.
Jeets is bowling a treat.
